Pivet has partnered with multiple national retail and telecommunications operators to resale our unique assortment of eco-friendly mobile accessories. 

The retailers have been able to offer their customers an eco-friendly, proven sustainable offering that has been 3rd party validated

They have enjoyed having the confidence that their customers are able to choose an eco-friendly solution without increased retail costs, or a loss of feature benefits and functionality when compared to non-eco-friendly brands already in the market.

The Problem

National Retail and Telecommunications operators needed to identify product offerings that met the growing demand by their customers that the options available in store are sustainable. 

These partners needed to also be confident the sustainability claims being made were verifiable and would ensure they were not flagged as ‘green-washing’, a major problem in the market today. 

Finally, the partners sought a solution that enabled them to continue to be profitable while moving to sustainable.

Pivet Solution

Pivet has partnered with these retail partners to offer our mobile accessories to their customers at MSRP (Manufactured Suggested Retail Price) that was equal to the non-sustainable options already present in their retail footprints.  In doing this, the partners help reduce any obstacles that would keep their customers from choosing Pivet. 

Their customers would now be able to get the same features and benefits they enjoyed from other brands, but now by switching to the Pivet products, they would ‘go green’ simply by that choice.  Both the partners and their customers could now rest assured that if recycling was not available or chosen as the final step in the products lifecycle it was ‘OK’.  All Pivet plastics utilize our Self-Cycle™ technology which means that when they enter nutrient-rich environments they would rapidly breakdown in years not generations! 

Partnership Value Adds

Employee Engagement – The portal Increased employee participation in sustainability efforts, provided them easy access to eco-friendly products, and enabled the partner to track and report the activity.  A ‘win/win/win’ situation for the partner, its employees and the planet.

Sales Tracking – Aggregating the employee transactions towards the e-commerce portal enabled detailed sales tracking and reporting for the partners ESG metrics.  Reporting customized to the partners requirements enhanced their ability to easily integrate the reporting to their existing ESG metrics. 

Cost SavingsThe partners have been able to realize significant cost-savings by partnering with Pivet and driving their employees to purchase from the portal.  These partners offered reimbursements or ‘per diems’ to their employees to purchase from market.  Employees purchasing via the portal received significant discount from the market retail pricing which translated to cost savings to the partner.  

Sustainable Solutions – Introducing the Pivet product assortment to their employees allowed them to take immediate advantage of the proven sustainability of Pivet products.  Their employees were able to ‘go green’ simply by choosing Pivet.

Market Appeal – Pivet’s solution provided an Increased appeal to the partners environmentally conscious customers, a segment that continues to grow.

Diversity and Inclusion – By partnering with Pivet, the customer was able to also diversify its supplier base given that Pivet is one of the few Black-owned companies in the tech space.
