Pivet has worked with multiple partners to collaborate on how to utilize its exclusive Self-Cycle™ technology to significantly enhance the sustainability of their product portfolios, helping them to advance their ESG goals much faster. The majority of the partners that have engaged with Pivet regarding the usage of our Self-Cycle™ technology were not considering this opportunity when they first connected with Pivet!
Customers have sought a solution to improve the environmental impact of their plastic products. The traditional, more common solutions in market did not provide them a unique, authentic option, while also introducing new concerns that made them unsuitable. They worked with Pivet to determine if the Self-Cycle™ technology would provide a suitable solution.
Pivet Solution
Pivet worked with each partner to evaluate their existing manufacturing efforts, with an emphasis on the materials used to produce their plastic options. Pivet leveraged its Self-Cycle™ materials to offer an immediate ‘upgrade’ to their production efforts. The partners were able to add the Self-Cycle™ technology, in this case our plastics additive, to their existing production line, at a fraction of production cost increase, to immediately make their product assortment sustainable.
Their plastics were now able to rapidly degrade when introduced into ‘nutrient-rich’ environments (landfills) in years. Their confidence in using the Self-Cycle™ solution was based on the fact that Pivet provided them 3rd party testing reports that demonstrated how fast plastic enhanced with Pivet Self-Cycle™ technology breaks down in environments that have an abundance of decay bacteria (ie. nutrient-rich environments aka landfills!).

Environmental Impact - Introducing the Self-Cycle™ technology to their existing product assortment immediately reduced the degradation time of their plastic products from generations to years, significantly decreasing landfill waste contribution.
Cost Savings – Pivet’s solution enabled the customers to produce a sustainable solution without major cost increases. Our Self-Cycle™ additive was implemented at a cost easily absorbed by the customer and amortized across their continued production efforts.
Market Appeal – Pivet’s solution provided an Increased appeal to the partners environmentally conscious customers, a segment that continues to grow.
Sustainable Product Introduction - Pivet was able to immediately update the customers assortment with our Self-Cycle™ technology, giving them a real-world, authentic solution in a turn-key capacity.
Diversity and Inclusion – By partnering with Pivet, the customer was able to also diversify its supplier base given that Pivet is one of the few Black-owned companies in the tech space.
